I was at your concert in Bogota, Colombia, and I decided to wait a little while to write this to you, because I wanted to do it with a cold head which has proved to be impossible. I was 10 years old by the time I heard my first Evanescence's song, it was Bring Me to Life while I was doing zaping and passed MTV. la tv channel, I deeply loved it and the very next day went to my dad to ask him to buy the album for me. Every song I heard made me fall in love with Evanescence more and more, not only because of the beautiful voice but because (as I'm sure happened to many fans) I felt that out there was some people writing music inspired on situations that I was living, and after almost 12 years, I still having that feeling of Evanescence being a kind of mental/heartly soundtrack to daily livings, and that's how you guys became my favorite band ever. I wanted to thank you, because last Saturday you made one of my dreams cone truth, because ever since I heard that first song, I wished with heart and soul to be there in a concert as close as I could get, and sing, and scream, and cry (as I'm doing while I write this) because I love you, but mostly because I feel your music touched me and saved me in so many ways (as many others of your fans). And as if it was not enough, I've got one of Terry Balsamo's picks, and I'm wearing it as my trinket of good luck, because it came from my dream made truth. Hope someday I'll be able to go to another one of your shows, and if it's ok, I hope next time I'll be able to meet you, greet you, and thank you directly and personally to you, to hug you all and to share my love.
